What are Missing Numbers?

Missing numbers are numbers that are not written in a sequence. We find them by counting forward or backward.

Example:
1, 2, __, 4 → The missing number is 3

Number Sequence

Numbers follow a fixed order. This order helps us find missing numbers easily.

How to Find Missing Numbers

1. Count Forward

Example:
5, 6, __, 8 → Missing number is 7

2. Count Backward

Example:
10, __, 8 → Missing number is 9

3. Look at the Pattern

Example:
2, 4, __, 8 → Missing number is 6
